From the basement of her home & through two location changes, Anne Perron, owner of DWP, has been outfitting dancers, skaters, gymnasts, & athletes in both quality merchandise from leading suppliers, as well as custom -made items under her own label, DAKS for nearly two decades.

Dancewear Plus is now into its 22nd year & continues to take on new ventures; Anne's love of sewing & designing, along with her entrepreneurial drive & dedicated, hard-working staff, has led DWP into many different worlds including ballroom and fitness competitions.

Our Mission

Dancewear Plus is committed to providing excellent customer service and brand-name products at an affordable price. Each staff member has experience in either dance, gymnastics, or figure skating, and will use their personal experiences along with expert product knowledge to offer  you the best service possible.

We welcome all levels of athletes and artists. Whether you are recreational, competitive, or professional, we will go above and beyond to ensure you are properly fit and comfortable.

Custom Costuming & Alterations

Dancewear Plus is fortunate to have a group of talented seamstresses onsite, allowing us to offer custom costuming, body wear, alterations, and assistance with ballet shoe and pointe shoe ribbon/elastic for our dance customers. 

Pointe Shoe Fitting

Dancewear Plus offers a large selection of quality pointe shoes  from leading suppliers. We have been providing expert pointe  shoe fittings for over 15 years.  All of our pointe shoe fittings are  performed by our specially-trained and knowledgeable employees  that recognize the major components that need to be considered  when fitting a dancer for pointe shoes. We are committed to  finding a proper fit for each dancer to ensure maximum safety  and comfort which allows the dancer to feel support and  confidence while en pointe.  How to book your fitting: Walk-ins are welcome but we do recommend that you make an appointment ahead of time. Have a group of dancers going en pointe for the first time? Contact us to learn more about group fittings!  

Skate Sharpening

We also offer professional skate sharpening, precision blade mounting and boot maintenance. 

We offer skate sharpening by appointment only. Please call ahead before coming in.

Dancewear Plus is our favourite dance shop. The staff has always been friendly and helpful to us. We appreciate the great selection of shoe styles and sizes, and the knowledgeable staff ensure a proper fit. I also love that they have their own line of dancewear made in house, in addition to the beautiful costumes they design and make to order

From slippers and shoes to tights and costumes. They carry it all. I'm not sure about the pricing as I'm a first time father just beginning the journey of dance with the little one but I thought the prices were very fair. If you are in the London area and have yet to check it out you may be just as pleased as I was. They also had a friendly and helpful associate working which always makes for a good shopping experience.
